To assist museums in preserving our art and heritage, special subsidized prices are available to non-profit institutions. Exhibit builders and distributors having reale certificates may purchase at wholesale prices (including any customer who pays the full amount of their order prior to delivery). All other customer use commercial prices. All prices are FOB Seaford, DE. We normally build and ship orders in 2 to 7 working days. Special or very large orders may take longer. We are happy to quote published prices and hard delivery dates for any order. Standard shipping is UPS ground, insured with signature. PURCHASE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

NoUVIR has only one price list. No discounts or changes to any invoice will be allowed. Prices and terms are determined by the customer's status, choice of payment and credit history. Unopened products may be returned, freight-prepaid, within 30 days for credit or refund, minus a restocking charge of 10%. Standard shipping is UPS ground, insured with signature. Next day delivery is available.

GOVERNMENT AND NON-PROFIT INSTITUTION PRICES

INSTITUTIONAL PRICING is for government-owned agencies, government-sponsored non-profit institutions, and other institutions working for the benefit of the public. We sell to such institutions directly, at special subsidized prices, when they order on a formal purchase order from the agency or institution. If an institution is not directly government-supported, non-profit status may need to be established with NoUVIR RESEARCH at the time of order. NoUVIR reserves the absolute right to determine a customer's non-profit, public benefit, business status and credit-worthiness for pricing purposes.

INSTITUTIONAL CREDIT TERMS: Government/Institution prices are available to all qualified non-profit institutions who pay invoiced amounts within 30 days from the date of each invoice. Since orders are custom- assembled and made-to-order for each customer, all customers (except Federal or State Governments) are required to deposit 50% with purchase order.

WHOLESALE CUSTOMER PRICES

WHOLESALE PRICING is for distributors, contractors, subs, exhibit builders or others with valid resale permits. Those who fully pre-pay orders may get institutional pricing. Read the gray box below for details.

COMMERCIAL CUSTOMER PRICES

COMMERCIAL PRICING is available to all those not specifically mentioned above. Be sure to read the gray box below.COMMERCIAL CREDIT TERMS: Commercial customers with pre-approved credit may order by issuing a formal purchase order with a payment for 50% of the amount of the order, based on comercial prices and pay the balance within 30 days from the date of invoice. NoUVIR reserves the absolute right to determine a customer's credit-worthiness. Since orders are custom-assembled and made-to-order for each customer, all commercial customers are required to deposit 50% with purchase order. All credit customers are required to pay outstanding balances within 30 days of the date of invoice. Accounts past 90 days will be charged interest at 1.5% per month on the amouont due and be subject to collection fees and/or court costs. Customers who fail to pay balances within 30 days will be placed on a C.O.D. status for subsequent orders at commercial prices. A 10% quantity discount is available for single orders of $100,000.00 or more.

IMPORTANT CUSTOMER ORDERING INFORMATION

Commercial customers with good credit standing may, with NoUVIR's consent, purchase at wholesale pricing on the entire order by issuing a formal purchase order accompanied by a 50% deposit and paying the balance net 30 days. Attention Exhibit Builders - Any prepaid order qualifies for Institutional Pricing. We accept VISA® and MASTERCARD®.

PRODUCT INSTALLATIONS: NoUVIR Research manufactures fiber optic lighting products under 24 U.S. Patents. We do not "integrate" or "private label" other company's technologies or allow others to do so with NoUVIR products. NoUVIR will provide ANY CONTRACTOR a hardware quotation, according to the terms and prices shown in this catalog. To avoid second party mark-ups, hardware and installation labor should always be solicited in separate quotations. Often the least cost method for a museum is to purchase NoUVIR products directly and supply them to the contractor CFE (Customer Furnished Equipment). With a published price list, there are no sales games, no hidden deals, no kick-backs, no mark-ups or cost-overruns. What you see is what you get and what you get is beautiful, stone-cold, pure-white, fiber optic light with no UV and no IR...NoUVIR!

LIMITED 10-YEAR WARRANTY AND REPAIR SERVICE POLICY

NoUVIR Research warrants this fiber optic system against defects in material and workmanship for periods shown below from the date of shipment from NoUVIR. If a defect is discovered, NoUVIR, at its option will repair, replace at no charge, or refund the purchase price, provided the customer returns it during the warranty period to NoUVIR, transportation charges prepaid. Please attach the customer's name shown on the invoice, user's name (if different), address, contact, telephone and fax number with a description of the problem, so that we can verify the warranty date and the serial number and personally contact you. All NoUVIR products are designed for the utmost reliability and fast easy maintenance in the field. Anything that could fail in a CLDN-HP projector is in a drawer instantly-replaceable (including a new lamp) in just seconds... without moving the projector or the fiber.

  1. LUMINAIRE WARRANTY: Every NoUVIR Fiber Optic Luminaire is warranted against defects in manufacturing of both the structure and optical elements for TEN YEARS from date of purchase. (Applications requiring immersion in seawater require special order black nylon luminaires.)
  2. PROJECTOR WARRANTY: Structural and optical components of each NoUVIR COLD-NOSE® projector are warranted against defects in design and manufacture for TEN YEARS from purchase date.
  3. FIBER WARRANTY: NoUVIR polymethyl methacrylate "acrylic" fibers are warranted against yellowing or loss of transmission for TEN YEARS when used with a NoUVIR COLD-NOSE® projector. (Never abuse any fiber by heating it, bending it tighter than a 6" radius or using adhesives that attack the fiber.)
  4. POWER SUPPLY WARRANTY: NoUVIR power supplies are warranted against defects in design and manufacture for ONE YEAR from date of purchase. NoUVIR reserves the right, to repair or replace any failed unit sent prepaid to NoUVIR. The replacement power supply will be returned, prepaid, at no cost.
  5. DRAWER WARRANTY: If a drawer fails within ONE YEAR (other than lamp burnout) a telephone call to NoUVIR will bring a replacement by overnight delivery. If the failed drawer is then returned to NoUVIR within 30 days, there will be no charge for the replacement.

If a drawer fails after one year, a new drawer, (or factory rebuilt drawer with all new electrical components) may be ordered by fax or with a hard copy of a formal purchase order, and will be shipped immediately. If the failed drawer is returned within 30 days, the customer will receive a credit. The total cost of a rebuilt drawer assembly with credit for return of the old drawer is at dramatically reduced price plus shipping costs. Drawer life of many years may be expected in normal operation, but fan or lampholder failure may occur under severe line voltage fluctuations, excess line voltage, excess heat due to inadequate ventilation or excess dirt from failure to clean the fan when the lamp is replaced. Be certain all projectors are correctly ventilated. NEVER USE UNDER-SIZED VENTS. Follow lamp replacement instructions and clean the dust from the fan blades with a very soft brush. Failure to provide adequate ventilation for projectors will cause premature lamp failure, may damage the fan and wiring and invalidate the warranty. At least 45 sq.in. open inlet area and 45 sq.in. open outlet area are required, using two NoUVIR "VENT" grilles or equivalents.

NOTICE: This warranty applies only to hardware manufactured by NoUVIR, identified by its trademark, tradename or logo on the units, and does not apply to products made by any other manufacturer. This warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged by accident, abuse, misuse or any misapplication, has been modified, taken apart, tampered with or if the serial number and/or patent information has been removed or defaced. All warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the times specified above from the date of shipment by NoUVIR. The warranty and remedies above are exclusive and in lieu of all others, oral or written, express or implied. No agent, representative or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension, or addition to this warranty. Some states vary in the rights given by warranties. The above limitations and warranty period may not apply to some customers. International customers need to check with their distributor for the warranty of each country. Please note the ventilation specifications in the installation and instruction manual.

NoUVIR IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, INCLUDING DAMAGE TO OR REPLACEMENT OF ANY OBJECT(S) OR PROPERTY, RESTORATIONS OR REPAIRS, LOST PROFITS, LOST DONATIONS, DOWNTIME OR GOODWILL. THE CUSTOMER ASSUMES ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ALL OBJECTS, ARTWORK, ANTIQUES, RARE ITEMS, PAPERS, FABRICS, COLLECTIBLES, AND ANY OTHER ITEMS, VALUABLE, CONCEIVED, OR IMPLIED AS VALUABLE; AND IS RESPONSIBLE FOR WORKING WITH AND DISPLAYING THEM.
